RELAX AND ENJOY THE SUNSHINE AT THE HOTEL VILLA MELODIE, ON THE SUNNIEST SIDE OF ISCHIA

The Hotel Villa Melodie stands on the west side of the island of Ischia, in the municipality of Forio, atop a promontory that separates it from Citara beach.
The building is surrounded by vineyards and lemon groves and is perfectly situated to enjoy enchanting sunsets, with glimpses of the island of Ventotene and Punta Imperatore lighthouse in the distance.

The villa, built in the 1960s, was the private home of a family of German intellectuals. It was then purchased by the current owner and converted into a delightful little hotel. Despite the transformation, the hotel still preserves all the charm of a private villa with large outdoor spaces, a swimming pool, garden and vegetable patch that provides produce used by the chef to prepare dishes typical of the island.

Villa Melodie has a bus stop nearby, offering good links to the rest of the island. It is around 2 km from Forio harbour and town centre and 500 m from Citara beach, which can be accessed by bus, your own transport, or on foot by walking down the main road.

The simply furnished bedrooms offer all the comforts you would expect, including air conditioning, hair dryer, safe, telephone, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the sea, Monte Epomeo or Punta Imperatore.
A winter garden, parasols, deckchairs and sunbeds surround the large outdoor swimming pool, which contains natural water at ambient temperature.
Meanwhile, the small indoor pool contains natural hot water and features a cascade and whirlpools.
As well as enjoying the shade provided by the palm trees and vine-clad pergola in the garden, guests can also benefit from toning and therapeutic massages performed by expert masseurs on request.
